I'm seeing a lot of threads and posts about stubbornness and refusal to change. But i always seems to me like when they come out throwing is when they have problems.

Certainly the inability to pass effectively is a shortcoming. But it seems to me to be different one than a lot of people complain about.

False, when we threw it more our qb regressed , I rather the 4/15 stat line then 7/22. We didn't turn it over when we threw less

well we trailed against 3 of these teams and had to throw a lot more any ways. still didn't throw enough vs bama, because that was actually working better than the running..

we still make so many low percentage throws.. so many fades and deep balls.

Combo of throwing too little in early games and the offense having too few easy passes to get his confidence up.

We threw it in the wrong ways (deep and deeper) and missed some short throws to the RBs because he can't take anything off his passes.

Against teams with big front 7s you need to space them out wide with bubble screens, screen passes, and sweeps. We saw none of that.

Truth is, we didn't throw it enough early in the season against lesser opponents.

False...The problem was they, specifically Brandon Harris, consistently threw it too late and too high.

To be honest I was a bit taken aback by what Harvey Williams said about Cam Cameron at a camp that Harvey brought someone (I think his son) to in the summer.

somewhat. mcneese, wku and eastern mich wouldve helped. cant control the weather and we never put a team away early enough to work on other things.

This is such a bull shite statement.

1st game was cancelled. Second was was division opponent. If Harris wasnt ready by the end of the season because LSU didnt throw it enough early, you expect the coaches to sling it against State when they had the lead?

Auburn couldnt stop LF and LSU boat raced them. Harris went 12/17 for 74 yards and 1 td. His longest pass of that game was 14 yards. Thats is all you need from the qb when you are running over a team.

Syracuse, Not harris fault. Wr had drops. was 8/16 156 yards. Would have been well over 200 with help from his wide outs. Passing game not working to well, they couldnt stop the run.

EMU, harris sucked and the game was close. LSU went back to pounding it and broke away. They went to the strength of the offense, the run game.

South Carolina. Might have been the worst team they played all season. Oh and what do you know? They worked on the passing game and Harris threw it 28 times.

The problem is who is passing the ball. Not how often we are passing the ball. This is the most inaccurate QB I have ever seen at LSU. I'm 47 years old and have been watching LSU since the late 70s.

This is the problem. We don't actually work on it until it's too late.

How bout getting some reps in on those lesser teams to build confidence and rhythm instead of continuing to pound Fournette for 260 yards? You know that's gonna be there.

The concept of focusing on your weak spots seems foreign to Les.

Only passes we complete routinely are deep routes. We dont throw many short to intermediate passes and when we do, we dont complete them. Harris has no touch on screens and usually throws it behind the running backs on dump offs. Throwing it more isnt the solution, completing them and being more creative and unpredictable on what routes we call is where we need improvement.

I think we were forcing it. And he's just not there yet on the intermediate routes. He seems to be getting better with the short routes, and is just all over the place on intermediate - he's very accurate for such a youngster on the deep passes, which is why we've had success with those.

And - even more frustrating, when he does deliver a quality short or intermediate pass - THAT'S when our recievers get a case of the drops.

You really think Harris is worse than Sol Graves or Jesse Daigle in 1990?

What are they supposed to call? Slants or other short passes? Harris is horrible on those, he throws full force and misses his mark. I wouldn't call very many of those either.
