Heisman Trophy Worthy RBs

Leonard Fournette
271 carries 1741 yards 18 TDs
Derrick Henry
295 carries 1797 yards 22 TDs
Dalvin Cook
211 carries 1658 yards 18 TDs
LF7 won't win the Heisman, but he should....unlike Cook or Henry...he basically was the offense for his team...without LF7 we go 6-5. Plus, as we all know, he played 1 less game than the other two.

Dalvin has been more impressive, unfortunately.
Two things torpedoed Fournette's Heisman chances:
1. Canceling the McNeese game.
2. Les Miles

Put Mark Ingram's stats next to those and laugh.

It's really a bad year for the Heisman, the same reason it's a down year overall in football. No star QBs. Henry will win it by virtue of being a good RB on the best team.

Maybe.
Voters do look at the season. LF had two less games.
There's a reason Tebow won it on an 8-4 team.
Or do people forget that?

I think it's just different because not a lot of quarterbacks are blowing it up right now.
Personally, I kind of like it. I was getting Heisman QB fatigue

Has there ever been more talented running backs in a single season in college history?

No he shouldn't. It should be Cook

I love LF and LSU but no he shouldn't. You have to have big games against the good teams to win.

I agree, which sucks.

There are a lot of great backs out there right now, for sure.

Henry will win and go off into the nfl to disappear. Its what bama does....
Posted on 12/1/15 at 9:47 am to SabiDojo
I still think he should get invited to NY

Oh, absolutely.
shite, if he had at least the McNeese game stats, he may still be the frontrunner. His numbers would be too gross.
We could have scheduled it during the Bama bye week. It's not like it makes a fricking difference anymore.

Please stop with the Fournette love fest. He is great we know that. But he will be invited but won't win the heisman

quote:You'll get many downvotes, but I agree. He's got 60 less carries and almost just as many yards and he's been banged up most of the year. That being said, both of them should be ahead of Henry, but Henry will win it due to the fact that he's playing for Bama

I think McCaffrey (sp?) should get it and Cook #2.
Cook is unreal but McCaffrey does EVERYTHING for his team and does it very well.
