I cannot verify any of the statements made in the Hayride article. But if it is true, it is a very damaging decision by Alleva not to make the announcement.

I don't blame Miles' for not believing Alleva since there was no announcement after Wednesday. The Gridiron Club comments by Miles have been grossly distorted. Some people just want to act like they know something in these situations and run their mouths.....and I hope that they are exposed very soon.

I think this Hayride's sources are kinda suspect.

Someone on the coaching changes board called this scenario on Thursday.

Alleva had already said he would have no statement until the season was over.
King Alexander cut his knees off by mid week, and adhering to his promise to wait until the season is over was the only thing he could do to save face and be consistent.
People have really become irrational about all this stuff.

TD postings/posters used the shotgun approach..... throw out 1000 different scenarios and one of them is bound to be correct....at some point....

Hayride again? Lol this isn't true. Alleva doesn't talk about those things until after season.

We’re also told that Alleva actually told Miles his job was no longer in jeopardy after Alexander’s scuppering of the buyout, but the coach didn’t believe him.

But but... 3rd quarter

Why do you guys think that after the last three weeks when EVERYONE was wrong on Miles leaving and Jimbo coming, would you now believe a shite website which has been wrong about literally everything it's ever printed.

Y'all must have some miserable lives to find solace in shite like this.

No. Just no. Adhering to a promise under normal circumstances MIGHT work.........but the MESS last week was not even close to normal....

You have to adapt to the environment and last week's disaster should have been stopped IF Alleva knew he was dead in the water on Wednesday....

All Les had to say was He was told by Alleva on Wednesday that he was safe. He didn't have to believe it but you put the public word out on what you were told.

why should Les have to say anything? why didn't Alleva come out and say it? that's his job

Miles played the Opie Taylor role to a tee and the emotional LSU fans bought it.

Can't believe I'm actually agreeing with you, but this is correct. It's not Miles' job to make statements about his job or the future of his employment. Alleva or whoever started the shite storm, they should have been speaking from the beginning.

And his policy sucks balls if that's even true. What kind of dumb arse policy is it to not say anything while rumors and speculation harm a brand that you're job is to promote and protect?

His arse needs to go.
