Get over it everyone. we're on our 3rd or 4th if you count the year we had co-offensive Coordinators. And we are still running the SAME toss dive between the tackles. Get over it! It's not the OC.

Les was asked lastnight, "Are you going to overhaul the offense?"

Here is his answer.

Click on link AND THEN TO THE RIGHT click on Texas A&M Link should be on top and then Fast Forward to 11:55. He is not changing so QUIT BASHING THE OC FOR THE SAME 20 year old offense we run

Never had co-offensive coordinators.
Krags has Parkinson and made way to Stud, who did a pretty damned good job in 11 with 1 exception.

I don't doubt CC will be the scapegoat though especially since his contract is up.

It's hilarious how people think a new OC will suddenly make the offense better.

Les has had 5 OCs and 3 in 5 years. This will be his 4th in 6 years.

What's the common denominator here?

2 scenarios

1. Les hires bad OCs consistently. Gary Crowton? HE fricking sucks. he sucks everywhere he goes. He sucked before and after LSU. Kragthorpe never coached, Stud was fired by his alma mater, and is an OL coach before and after his stint as our OC. And idk what to think about Cam. That being said, Les went out and got Crowton, and Cam and these are the results.

2. This is Les's offense and it sucks.

Neither gives me a lot of faith in Les to turn this around.

i agree--it's not the OC. the play-calling was very good last night. receivers were open. unfortunately we were too inaccurate which forced us to run more than we wanted to.

CC says, "Bombs over Baghdad!"

Les says "Toss Dive, Bitch."

LSU finished 25th in the country in offensive yards per play but don't let facts get in the way of shitting on lsu.
LSU finished 4th in the sec in offensive points per game.

While our offense does need to be overhauled when we play team that match our physicality, we don't need to scare the whole thing. The most important change need to be playcalling. It seems we have no situational play calling and we rarely ever see plays called to set up plays later in the game.

Miles is not the coach to take LSU to another championship. He has proven he can recruit the talent, but it stops there. He values the ability to recruit over the ability to coach out of his coordinators. The administration, which has been unhappy with the situation, should have given Miles an ultimatum last offseason.

Last night, the team struggled again against a weak opponent at home.

2012 til now, no changes. Need another year to expect something different? A QB that can be consistent? Now that Franks has bailed we don't even have a decent QB waiting in the wings for the future.

Just look at university of Georgia football program, that's where LSU is and will be staying for another year.

He's smug and stupid and he thinks he's cute. He's not smart enough to know he's stupid. His coaching is overrated. His selection of coaching help is questionable at best. His recruiting does not include enough linemen and he appears to be incapable of recruiting or evaluating a quarterback.

This STUPID BUMBLE-frick has meddled, arguably, one of the most talented group of players to suit up for LSU into the 42nd percentile, offensively, amongst FBS schools and says this: "Do we want to consider change? You betcha. I think serious overhaul is appropriate but would be a little much.”
What the frick does the 'tard mean by serious overhaul is appropriate but would be a little much?!? HEY DUMMY...serious overhaul means more than "a little much".

One of the Bumble-frick's problems with coordinators is that they can't reconcile the square peg in round hole pitch/dive paradigm that Mo' Lester's 90 IQ is completely entrenched in.

Seeing that babbling idiot on our sidelines next year is going to be absolutely miserable. Knowing that he gives us nothing but mediocrity every single fricking year and you morons are totally okay with it because "Oh look at his stupid clap he's so NICE", makes me fricking ill. He is past his prime. This is a business. It is sad to see how many people are totally okay with being average. I guess it shows that that mindset spreads far past football coaches, though, if you look at the world today.

I hate people using the toss dive as THE example when talking about the offense. It's actually an awesome play. Custom built for a Fournette, Michael Ford, Guice, etc.

The problem is we run it out of almost the same formation with no misdirection or setup. THAT should be the example.

Well... we do, or the RB does, some misdirection. They don't always follow the FB. Which if you're a RB and figured out the LB's have been told to engage the FB in the hole and that's your key, it can work out well if there's no real good backside disruption/pursuit (which if your tackles are being beat, like at Bama, there is). One less blocker, but one less tackler. Hit the gap quick enough (the objective of the play- hit gap quick but with room/vision to change) and you're potentially at the second level before a safety or other LB can get close.

But I digress... if that's the only deception the S is all over it if he's not worrying about pass. Maybe sneak a TE (or the FB actually) behind the crashing LBs or creeping S every now and then.
