Does everyone feel the format is inconsistent with the Big 12 not having a championship game and ND being independent bringing horrendous subjectivity? Needs to be fixed

Lol Ohio state benefited from the CCG last year.
Teams can't complain about having to play a CCG when more often than not that will help them

Inconsistency is what they want. How else will they justify sneaking Ohio St in this year?

It's college football, that's what makes this special and not like the pros.

PAC 12 - 9 conf games, 3 OOC games, conf championship game
SEC/ACC/BIG10 - 8 conf games, 4 OOC games, conf championship game
BIG XII - 9 conf games, 3 OOC games
PAC shooting itself in the foot.

Anybody who is in a conference is in a conference because they chose to be in a conference.
Any conference who stages a championship game stages a championship game because they chose to stage a championship game.
Nothing needs to be fixed.

Big XIi is the perfect setup. You have to play everyone, no benefitting from not having the best teams in another division on your schedule. If you are too big like the. Other conferences then the CG is the only way you can go, though most of the time the deserving teams all seem to be in one division (SEC West, Big 10 East)

Every conference should have a conference championship game and Notre Dame should join a conference.
Those are my opinions on the matter. I don't care what conference ND joins, ACC, B1G, Big XII, whatever. I'd like to see them officially join one.

It wasn't last year.

Conference play isn't the issue, it's Out of Conference play.

Agree with Chalmette, play 9 and 3 OOC.

And a conference championship game. Should be a requirement for consideration to the CFP.

definitely
last year they almost had two teams get into playoffs - that can likely never happen for others conferences because they have championship games.
this year, Oklahoma is sitting in the club house with a secured spot in the playoff, resting, while other teams need to play one more game - huge advantage.
