You can already see them digging the trenches should this thing go south - if Coach "Aftermiles" comes in and drops 6 or 7 games in 2016 - they're all prepared to say, "But the team looks more disciplined" or "Fewer penalties" or "Miles left the cupboard bare" - etc.
On the other hand, we true fans, are hoping against hope that the new coach comes in and runs the table. I'll be glad to say, "Well, I still appreciate what he did, the class, the fun, making football games fun again, but it was obviously time for a change. I was wrong to be so hesitant."
Aftermiles could drop all 12 games and the negas will never admit it was a mistake to let Miles go. Never in a million years.

The way some of you whine about how Les is leaving & how bad we'll be without him, it seems like you love Miles more than the program. Instead of whining like babies because not everyone wants to give Les a bj on his way out, why not open your eyes to the realities of why he's leaving instead of going off how great of a person he is and his record. Everyone has said that he's a great person. The worst being said about him is him using Arky to get more cash and his coaching skills. You'd think he was getting death threats or something on here.

I'm actually kind of blown away...very touching...definitely tears. He really does love LSU.

Seriously, why do you have to be a Miles hater to want him gone? He's had a nice run here and I love the guy, but feel like it's time for some new blood. Dont hate him at all, though.

That's my starting point for why this is so crazy. What do you tell the next guy? 80% isn't good enough.
Who would want that job?
And who would want to work for a snake like Alleva? (Unless you figure you come in, do your 5 years, and go somewhere else - certainly doesn't seem like a long-term gig.)

Let it go kid. There is no easter bunny, santa claus, and Les Miles as coach of LSU. And for all of you cry babies regarding Miles, you can quit complaining about the negatigers, Athletic director, and the media. LES MILES gave this job away. I repeat, he gave it away. He has had a million opportunities to save his job and he flat out turned his back on them. Did we hire his coordinators? Did Aleva gameplan for any game in the last ten year? Did the media force him to play JJ the entire National Championship game? You guys need to blame the person truly responsible for fricking him out of his job.
