Rarely, even when it's cold. I'm not wearing shoes now.

I constantly have reasons to go outside and I don't like slipping shoes on and off, so I wear shoes almost all day. At the end of the day I'll kick them off and go barefoot in the summer or with thick socks in the winter.

I will admit that sometimes in the morning during winter I wear my super thick wool hunting socks till I head out to work. But when I get home I lol off my boots and out my house shoes on, which are sneakers.

How many people here have ever needed a muck room? Live in the mountains and you'll realize wearing your shoes inside just doesn't work in the fall/winter/spring.

Barefoot or socks. Boyd's friends leave shoes at the doors. Anyone come over to visit or to eat keeps shoes on.

Sometimes to the Bedroom, which is on the bottom floor. Take them off when I get there. Never upstairs.

I have all wood floors and pretty much always wear flip-flops around the house.

People up North think people down here are crazy for wearing shoes in our homes.

There have been threads about this on other websites. The consensus is that way more people take off their shoes than you'd think. They think it is disgusting that we track in whatever we step on outside.

her family puts their shoes in a closet in their room then wears slippers or flip flops at all times in the house

This what we do around my house, but that is a lot out of comfort. People who come over can leave their shoes on if they want.

In the winter you track in snowy/icy/wet shoes in Northern states.

Many homes have arctic entries for shoes, jackets, etc.
