What coaching job would be attractive to Les Miles? Other than Michigan.

He has more money than he ever dreamed of, he's done after LSU.

Rugby. LOTS of running into a pile. Miles probably gets fully aroused when watching a scrum.

He's retiring at LSU. I've been saying this for years.

Plus he's paid out until 2019. He'd probably lose that if he took another job.

Is there anyone that will seriously be clamoring for him?

Regardless of a rebuilding team or turnkey, what program would fly down to BR in the private jet;
interview him;
then on the way back home, say,

"That's our man....we gotta have him. Write the check"

don't kid yourself, most schools in the country would jizz all over themselves at the opportunity to hire a coach that could keep their program at the level he has kept ours at for more than a decade.

scenario that scares me would be for him to go to another sec west school....

Cmon. I think even the pumpers are honest enough to admit that if we were doing a coaching search today having lost some other coach, and our admin hired Miles, we'd all be pissed as frick.

The man wouldn't be in demand at any school remotely on LSU's level. He ain't leaving this place for another job.

Please go to another SEC school. Where he will get beat by Saban, Belima and Freeze then who ever LSU would hire. So then he would be left with A&M or Miss St. He would bomb at those schools quick with their lack of talent.

Yes they would but he couldn't have done at other schools what he has done here. He won't get the talent he gets at LSU. He's just not a great coach. He lucked into this situation.

I agree. He has it made here if he keeps winning 8-10 games a year he won't get Fired...However. If LSU losses the next two and then shite the bed in a bowl game, that would be two straight years of 5 losses... He had better win at least 10 games next year or they may replace him....

Which is it? Can he be fired if he wins 8 or not?

Then why has he never ever been mentioned for an opening that wasn't his alma mater and more importantly manufactured interest? No one has ever truly tried to hire him from us in either CFB or the NFL and that speaks volumes.
