ignoring the injury issue, pretty sure curry is the only player (with starter minutes) in NBA history to have a 10-point PER jump after the age of 25 so i'll gladly be wrong due to the one outlier example in the history of the NBA of this occurring
Trying to find anyone close.
Steve Nash. Bench guy for 2 yrs. Then traded to Mavs.
Age 24 - started all 40g (NBA lockout) with 10.9 PER
Age 25 - 13.5 PER missed like 27g but played basically starters minutes .
Age 26 - 19.6 PER
Age 27-32 = 20.7, 22.6, 20.5, 22.0, 23.3, 23.8 PERs
Chauncey Billups. Starter at age 21, 22, 23. PERs of 13.6, 15.1, 10.5. At Age 24 PER of 14.1.............Age 29-31 PERs = 23.4, 21.3, 23.6.
I'm guessing if we go back further in time some more close calls will come up. Need guys who end up with super high PERs bc 10 pts of PER is A LOT...if we were talking %increase in PER that'd be diff........but probably need some 3 yr and 4 yr college guys. Nowadays the top PER lists are filled with dudes who barely played college and so entered the league super young and had a ton of seasons before age 25

Top 15 NBA "Looking Forward" Players (over the next 10 years)
1. Durant
2. Westbrook

4. Rose
5. Lebron

7. Eric Gordon
8. Greg Monroe
9. Blake Griffin
10. Paul George
11. Kyrie Irving
12. Jrue Holiday
13. Bynum
14. Demarcus Cousins
15. Enes Kanter
i think howard is going to fall off some
kobe/wade/paul/curry are out of the discussion due to long-term health and/or age worries
and obviously i'm projecting and may have made a big mistake somewhere
curry is a man without a position, though
his stats were inflated by GS's old offense
you were saying?
bynum has been healthy this year and is like 24
gordon is 23
bynum is a big man and much more valuable than curry or gordon. if bynum had no health concerns he'd be 2 behind durant
gordon > curry when healthy, and i'm not as worried about his ability to hold up
curry has a possible sever structural injury to his ankle, and he wasn't amazing in his role on the non-super tempo warriors
All we need to know

Steph is the best player in the NBA right now, so no, Russ is not the best PG.
I am expecting OKC to advance to the west finals and give GSW all they can handle and then some.

Okc had multiple games where they could have shut down gsw to only implode because of Westbrook.
It's like the simple fact curry is a better shooter than him irritates him so much he has to jack up 3s after curry does.

one time Celtics beat Lakers by 30 in game one and all the others were decided in OT or by one shot. Lakers won in 5. McHale had severely sprained ankle in game one.

They played great in most of the games against the warriors....and still lost

OKC will have to play flawlessly to beat GS (and the Spurs as well).
But going from a 10-12 man rotation to the typical 8 of the playoffs will definitely benefit OKC.

Depends...are Dion Waiters and Kyle Singler two of the eight?

Dion does not suck. He has a lot of motivation and can defend reasonably well.
Kyle Singler is a waste of air.
If we can get big Turkey on the floor as much as possible, the bench will do just fine (against anyone besides GSW or SAS )

I tried to give you a downvote, but I guess I gave you one the 1st time.

1. Steph
2. Russ
3. CP3
Is how I'd rank the top 3 right now. With a large gap between Russ and CP3.
