KC Royals fans think they're better fans than STL Cardinals fans because

This is what a Royals fan (who seemingly became a Royals fan overnight) recently told me, "It takes a real fan to root for an awful team every year. Cardinals fans have it easy. It's easy to root for a team that makes the playoffs every year. Just wait until the Cardinals suck. Y'all will disappear."
LOL.
They forget that the Cards sucked in the 90s and yet we still supported our team, wore our Cardinals gear, and were openly proud as fvck regardless of poor performance!
Yet, I never saw one...NOT ONE...Royals shirt, hat, or window sticker in the entire Southwest Missouri region until last year. Not to mention that their stadium is usually empty unless the Royals are having a record breaking season.
So, I guess these so called "great Royals fans" love their team so much that they refuse to support their team until the team does well...which only happens about once or twice every 30 years.
Sounds like truly great fans to me!

Cardinals fans are the most obnoxious of any sport. Congrats to the Royals and a fanbase that deserves to hold their head up at least for a couple of years. I think it is killing StL fans to not even be state champs for the past two years and that is kind of enjoyable to me.

Very true. The WORST year the cardinals had in the 90's was 70 wins. That is the worst.
