Man claims racial discrimination over curry

Stuart Lynn spent nearly £30 in his local Indian restaurant, and asked for his venison curry to be served very mild. This is quite a normal request, so he was shocked when his curry order came with a receipt marked 'VERY MILD, WHITE PPL'. The 44-year-old believes the note was a slur, suggesting that white people can't handle curries that are not mild.

White people are supposed to be above this petty shite, he's making us look bad.

This could be stereotyping but how is it discrimination?

From my experience a number of white people, particularly women, who eat Indian or Thai food are in fact pansies when it comes to handling the heat.

I would have laughed with them about it.
That's the thing about stereotypes...they aren't personal.
Except that small hand, small feet...that shite is personal. Me and God still got beef on that sick joke.

Funny because when I visit my regular Indian and Thai restaurant I always say I'd like it a little hot, but "white people hot"
And they laugh. And I laugh. And in that moment we are all just one people.

As a white guy, I couldn't care less if other ethnicities stereotype me. How does that affect me in any way? It doesn't, so get your damn panties unwadded.

My first semester at LSU, hell I think it was my first class, there was this Asian professor who had a ridiculous racist claim. I am pretty sure it was the first sociology in Dodson. Anyway he said he recently experienced racism because he went to a sandwich place and they served him the end of the french bread loaf when getting a po boy. We all got a good laugh out of that, especially the black folks in the class. He thought it was obvious racism.
