The general rule is don't dip your pen in company ink.

Do either of you report to one another? Work in the same department?

I dated a woman that I worked with. We didn't work directly together though. Our jobs were exclusive of each other and there were no issues.

Don't shite where you eat.

No matter how hot she is, it could end badly for you and really frick up your work environment.

You just need to decide if the risk is worth it.

I wouldn't do it. Most likely won't end well.

Go for it. I was sleeping with the HR manager at my work. Then we got married and the sleeping with stuff stopped

My cousin was in nearly an identical situation as you. He hooked up with a receptionist and her husband sued the company. It went all the way to the TX supreme court before the plaintiff finally lost. Now if you google my cousin's name, the court case is the first thing that comes up.

Speaking from a restaurant perspective, co-workers co-mingle late at night a lot

I can't imagine what could go wrong. This will end amicably, calmly and without incident when both parties are ready to do so.
