MIP on LSU gameday

Got tagged with one Saturday. It was a lapse in judgement. Called about the pretrial thing, a lady said it'll be $460 plus a class and 8 hours of community service but that my ticket was not yet processed and I should call back in like 2 weeks for actual information.
Any early advice on what I should do? Go to court and pay? Do the pretrial?

Don't do pretrial for an mip. That would be a huge waste of money.

Hire an attorney and fight it out? Might be less than $460. Never got caught with MIP in college.

That sucks.. Was tailgating all day Saturday and it was a mess on campus. Didn't expect them to be out giving MIP's. Sorry to hear that. Don't do pre-trial

Saw a pledge getting one by the Law building before the UF game and he was sobbing like a little girl while his gf/date consoled him.
