If not for spring, I don't really watch it at all. What's in fall? Boardwalk is over, what do they have to replace it
Yep. My dilemma right now. I have no Fall show now that BWE is over. That WestWorld show looks interesting though.

Season 1 was only 52% on Metacritic - reviews were pretty average critically speaking.
Metacritic and HBO can suck my arse then. With them putting The Knick on shitty arse Cinemax and this, I'm quite annoyed with them at the moment.
This show was easily the best show out of the gate from this latest run of True Detective Season 2 and Ballers (and FWIW, I like Ballers). But it also wouldn't surprise me with as loaded as the cast was, if there weren't some contract negotiation issues and HBO couldn't get it done.

That show is so bad. No really story behind it.... Just a couple of slugs living in NYC.
The only thing worse that the show was the movie...

We have to make room for more Project Greenlight and Doll and Em and more fricking documentaries by Alexandra Pelosi

Damn that sucks, my wife and I both thought it was pretty damn funny and I originally thought from the previews that I would not like it......I liked Ballers too, but if one of those shows were to get cancelled I can't see how The Brink would get the axe before ballers

HBO has become a bit of a playground for celebrity vanity projects and Social Justice Warrior Projects. At some point their deep need to persuade you about the many glories of liberalism just makes you roll your eyes. How many documentaries by Nancy Pelosi's multi-millionaire- set-for-generations- daughter that focus on income inequality can they air? Their best series have always been about the human condition and not the precious beliefs of the celebrity class or a bunch of lesbian chicks talking about birth control and gay rights or earnest interviews with Obama about global warming. Way too preachy for me.Too many other choices. The really funny stuff out there mocks this politically-correct obsession. I want more of that, that makes fun of everybody.

I liked The Brink, but I could never tune in when it aired because I just couldn't sit through the shitfest of True Detective and Ballers. I'd be bored to death by the time it aired.
I think it would have done better with the slot after True Detective. Silicon Valley's initial success is largely due to it immediately following GOT.

And I still would've loved to seen a season of Boardwalk Empire taking place around the 1929 crash.

Good. 'Twas Mediocre.
It only appeared to be a decent show when directly compared to the shitastic abortion that is ballers.
