re: Season 2 narcos

I heard one of the creators say they want to keep moving forward eventually showing how the Mexican Cartels took over.
I think it was a good idea to name it Narcos rather than the Pablo Escobar story, or something along those lines. They could create quite a number of seasons since it's just on narcotics and how some cartel's rose to power. How long until we see El Chapo, you think? Season 4, maybe?

Since we are shitting on the OP.... Balogny is not a thing ---The bologna sausage is traditionally made from the “odds and ends” of chicken, turkey, beef, or pork. It is similar to the Italian mortadella, which originated in the Italian city of Bologna. The inexpensive deli meat is often pronounced and spelled “baloney.”--- And ---On to baloney: The slang word took off in the 1930s thanks to Alfred E. Smith, who served as the governor of New York four times and was the first Roman Catholic major party nominee to run for President. He frequently used the term “baloney” in reference to Washington bureaucracy.---

 Enjoyed the movie. Hardy crushed the role. The ending was awesome as well.
And it's only two episodes, unfortunately. They could easily make it five or six tops with all the content as someone else mentioned. But, I rather a shorter "season" of great episodes than a twenty three episode season with a bunch of filler episodes and stale stories that drag for far too long.

John Wayne Gacey......I don't hate clowns but can understand why people do.

That's how I am also, I have see them to the finish regardless if the quality goes down or not (Sons of Anarhy) although my wife and still get a few laughs from Big Bang
Still watch and agree with this. Is it just me or has the laugh track gotten worse? I find that's why I enjoy modern family more. It doesn't tell me when or if I should laugh.

Theme music was the tits. Didn't have to be watching the TV to know what was coming on.

also the girl from Always Sunny seems liek great wife material. She's really aged well. She's not stunning or anything, but she definitely looks good for being the adult version of her character in Sunny.
definitely. I like the fact that she isn't trying too hard to be funny and just is. She plays off Lowe and Savage really well.

Love it. Rob Lowe kills it. Fred Savage isn't that bad either. I was surprised at how good it has been every episode and not just a couple good ones. The grinder rests.

Tired of Star Wars, you are? Make another thread, you did?

If you watch the ESPN 30 on 30 about the incident it's much better and not boring at all.
This. 30 for 30 is 100% better than the movie. I think Ruffalo, Tatum, & Carrel did a good job in the movie but the pacing and story was slow and boring. They honestly covered the exact same story, told in the same timeline, but in an hour rather than two. And told by the people who were there rather than actors. After watching the 30 for 30 it made me regret watching the movie.

Super boring movie and it skips like five years of maddness.
This is so damn true.

Oof! I think the show is pretty good overall but I also think Jesse Tyler Ferguson might be the single most unfunny comic actor I've ever seen
You see, stand alone I could agree. It's his sarcasm I like. Same with Claire, her eyes and facial expressions. Also, after watching older episodes I would have to say Phil and Jay are 1A and 1B respectively, Cam 2, Mitch & Claire 3, and then the rest. I guess this past episode put Mitch into more scenes as he had great trade offs with Cam and Luke in the car.
quote:
See, I think Mitchell is awful. But I like how Cam plays off of him.
I like Mitch's sarcasm. And do agree he is best when paired with Cam in a scene. They do play extremely well of one another.
quote:
I do wish they'd go back to when Cam was flamboyant, but still pretty manly. Feels like they haven't done that in a while.
Couldn't agree more. Granted I did like how they portrayed him last night. As a bro's bro just trying to fit in with every crowd who moves in upstairs. Scene with the black family cracked me up.

Luke
I think he has always been a bad actor but was more tolerable as a child.
quote:
And as much as I hate Manny, he's actually not as bad as he used to be IMO. At least now he's growing into his personality a little bit
Most definitely. Wife and I both said last night they need to do something with Lily. Her interaction with Phil was ok but Phil carried the load in their scenes.

Same here. I still like it. Phil and Jay are most definitely my favorite characters as well. Mitch would be third and Claire and Cam tied for fourth.

The end of that episode with everyone humming and singing the song is most certainly what made it so great .
