A final solution to the tiger problem:

The fans want a tiger in the stadium.
PETA wants to PETA.
The vet school will not encourage Roscoe to help out.
There are plenty of tigers out there that will do the work that our tiger won't.
So, let's bid the job out. The TAF can build a new, larger, better trailer. The Memphis tiger, or the truck stop tiger, or some other contender from Audubon can come in for game days. Roscoe still gets to play in his habitat and pose with the meat sculptures. 10% of the fee for the gameday tiger goes to the World Wildlife Tiger fund (or equivalent).
Why would this not work?

This post is pretty ironic given your screen name.

The truck stop tiger is dead, I think. 3 years ago he was like 15 years old.

The truck stop tiger is back - just drove by and saw crowd outside his/her cage.

No way, PETA would rather tigers live wild and get poached. Tell me the last time a tiger got killed for its bones and skin on campus??

final solution - let everyone enjoy going by his habaitat 24/7 and quit worrying about cramming him inyo a trailer for a 5 minute trip around the stadium with 45 cheerleaders on top.

What would be the point of keeping Rosco then? I mean it costs a lot of $$$ to have him here (habitat, food, health, etc). Why put all that $$$ into him and then go get a new tiger for gameday?

Like with most things these days it would seem, the radicals are having their way. Time to stop bending the knee to the fringe elements of society and tell them to go F themselves.

That truck stop does have a rapey vibe.

What's your solution Mike the Tiger Trainer?

Short of revolution to fix the country's mess, I'd say short term here is to get the damn tiger in the cage and quit being a bunch of pussies. It's not like this hasn't been done before or Memphis hasn't found a way to do it. It's embarrassing, and it's a real let down for the kids that are being denied what we all enjoyed for many years.
Tigers don't change their stripes. They're still the same tigers they've always been. It's the people who've become the pussies here.

There is no trainer- we're talking a turnkey full service gameday tiger. Completely outsourced. Let's make Tiger Stadium great again!

Fact: employee of that truck stop statutory-raped a 15yo boy

Are you saying we outsource our gameday tiger?
I don't like that idea at all. But it also doesn't ruin my day when the current Mike doesn't want to go to the game. You win some, you lose some. Maybe the next tiger will be better, but I think the tiger that goes to the stadium should be the tiger on campus.

Mike is a lazy, selfish, unmotivated, bandwagon pussy. We need to ship his off and have him let loose into the grasslands of Bangladesh or the fricking Tundra in Russia. Let one of those wild tigers get ahold of his pampered arse. He'll be somebody's bitch inside of a few hours--ironing socks and shite.
