they mix online classes with normal classes. They also make up the hours during the summer.

Probably not something people would want to admit. I went to LSU for 8 years and never had athlete, that I knew of, in any class.

Yea, a couple of times. Physics undergrad, EE masters. I took most of the Nuclear Science classes to pursue medical physics, but since the program wasn't accredited at the time I switched over to EE instead. Took a year of undergrad EE classes before getting into grad school. Worked and did research at CAMD.

Outside of that I was huge frickoff, and I was definitely not in a rush to leave LSU. I lived in the house behind the Chimes, now the parking lot, and ended up marrying a waitress from there. Good times.

I had a couple of classes with Eddie Fuller. (yes, I'm that old)

We sat near each other in Marketing. He attended at least as well as I did, and sometimes I had to borrow notes from him. He was nicest guy in class.

When he caught the Earthquake pass I was like Otter saying 'Otis my man!'

It's been 20 years, but I had a Speech class with Wide Richey and his holder (3rd/4th string QB Casey Taber). They of course were no stars and they were just regular-Joe students in that class. Richey did seem to lack a little self-confidence, which I can't blame him for in a Speech class.

REquired to be full time so minimum 12. The athletic dorm, however, has a serious set of tutors that help each night with homework. They used to required the guys to put in so many hours a week for insurance.

I actually have seen professors be tougher on players to prove a point. Some profs have a chip on their shoulders because their star graduate research assistants don't get the respect that freshman athletes do. I have seen it work against them.

Used to have a class with Andrew whitworth back when I was at LSU. He would always sit right in front of me and I couldn't see shite. I never knew what the professor even looked like, but he seemed like a very intelligent person and always went to class

In my long undergrad career, I took a few classes with players. EDCI 1001 had the most (4) out of any other classes, but the rest were just gen ed classes or blowoff classes to boost my GPA. There is usually someone who makes sure they go to class that shows up either before or after the class once or twice a week. Most of them were quiet and kept to themselves. One that stood out was Alley Broussard. He was always cutting up and would take pictures of the PowerPoint slides instead of writing everything down like a normal person

I took History of Jazz in the summer of '03. Sat next to a kinda light-skinned black guy who was cool as hell. Came to class everyday, very laid back & down to earth. Just so happened to overhear him talking to someone else one day, and they asked him if he played football. He said yes, and that he was a running back. Had no idea who he was, so I went home & looked him up on the roster. Turned out, it was Justin Vincent. When he blew up that year, I was all like, "Yeah! That's my classmate!!!"

My freshman year had a speech class with Charles Alexander. After that class was over, we both had a class in Lockett and we sometimes walked together to Lockett . He seemed like a good guy.

We were both freshman that semester and after the semester was over, I didn't see him again (except when he was on the football field), until 5 or 6 years later when I was at the old Melius Bar on Conti St in the FQ. He was there with a bunch of other people and when he saw me, he came over to me and shook hands and talked for a minute. I was surprised he remembered me.

I remember a class in 1992 all semester we had a smaller class. The on the final we get moved to an auditorium and half the football baseball and basketball team showed up to take the final. LoL never saw a one during the semester.
