I'm shocked, tbh.
I can see people having plans; we all do.
Figured 60,000 at least...

I'm sure they'll sell a lot of tickets Saturday morning once everyone figures out what they're doing for the weekend
Posted on 10/9/15 at 3:25 pm to DEG
they should do a 2 for 1 deal or something starting this afternoon... joe said it wouldn't be fair to those who already bought tickets.
it would be fair because those of us that bought tickets got to pick where we wanted to sit first. half off and you have more limited choices. how does he not see that?

Quit bitching and do something to spur ticket sales if they're so bad.
exactly... people keep saying USCe sets the price.
well they asked Joe, what do you think we can get? ok, then use that number.
this is all LSU and Joe

I know USC controls the ticket prices, but if LSU added TAF points to anyone who buys a ticket they'd prob move some product.

For the 9999999999999999999999999th time, South Carolina sets the prices. We send them the revenue
If this were a regularly scheduled home game for LSU, face value of the ticket would be AT LEAST $75, likely more.
This isn't some outrageous price that LSU and USC came up with to "screw" the LSU fanbase. Of course you have many people who already made other plans for this weekend and thus, can't attend. However, the slow ticket sales also shows that cries of thousands who would attend the games if the corporate "fat cats" wouldn't buy up all the good seats is just BS

Joe stated the Athletic Department would donate a portion of what we are reimbursed, which is separate from the revenue they are owed.

Most private schools in BR have fall break this week so families planned trips.
Lots of events get schedule in non-home game weekends in October in BR.
USC sat on the decision as long as possible to try to get a neutral site. Out of town fans had little time to plan.
They tried to get premium pricing in a non-premium situation.
Deal with it.

If they would of made the decision on Monday instead of waiting til Wednesday then this probably wouldn't be an issue.

Well, what more should we do?
Not suit up LF7?

I'm not so sure the prices were set by USCE.
I remember them saying how the lsu ticket office was meeting and deciding how to go about tickets.
I am just speculating and may be wrong

Its a freakin business. If people aren't buying your product, you do something to change that. Otherwise shut up and enjoy your half packed stadium.
