Ya why not? transportation and lodging for 300 kids on 2 days notice should be easy.

While I am not opposed to this, I do think its rather weird for our band to play their Alma Mater. Nonetheless

Can we request that they look more like the USCe band during halftime?

Plot Twist: Starts playing SCAR fight song and mid song band goes silent....Bi** I'm from Louisiana starts blaring over the sound system.

It's really not. Bands are pretty chummy like that. In fact, its actually pretty common for them to learn other school's songs as a sign of respect. Especially during hard times.
EDIT: It was a practice, but still a nice example: LINK

Talk about a logistically impossible task.

Makes sense, this is officially a USCe home game, despite the location. Nice gesture by TGBFTL.

I wonder which recycled halftime show we'll see this weekend.
Actually, recycled is the wrong word because that implies that it has been changed in some way. I wonder which halftime show we've already seen will be performed this weekend.

Noble gesture by TGBFTL.
It would be great if our band could do the SC pregame show. Probably asking too much on two days practice.

Then we crushed them

Wouldn't imagine so. USC has cancelled classes all week for one. Plus I can't imagine them telling band members today "hey btw were going to Baton Rouge this weekend. We leave Friday"

I went to both schools so I know the words.
