Is it just me or does it look like he's been crying? LINK /

don't know about that, but my impression was that this game and the emotions were tougher on Saban than he thought it'd be. I think he'd come back to LSU if given the opportunity.

"They have a PRETTY good football team."

I have said all along that if Miles goes to Michigan, Saban will be the next coach at LSU. And, even the haters on here would love to hae him back I think.

I think he did a couple of lines before he came out for the interview. Notice how he was rubbing his nose at the beginning.

What I took from the post game interview was:
Saban had a hard time with this game and will be extremely happy that it is behind him.
That reporters have to be the biggest pussies in the world. I don't give a rat's arse if it was Coach Saban or Coach Knight, but the first MF who talked down to me like Coach Saban did yesterday or Knight does at every interview, I'd be calling for him to meet me outdoors. Might be getting my arse kicked when we got outside, but there is no way I'd allow someone to make an arse out of me in front of all these other reporters.

That is the way I felt when Arenas ran back that punt for a TD. Oh for the days when we had Skyler Greene making such plays without the blocks in the back, personal fouls, of just fair catches.
Oh Saban won't you please come home.

I don't see anything he said wrong. They did not play well and we kept them in the game.

Most of those reporters are very young and have been sent there by staff writers to get the story. They are just proud to be there and they are not going to ruffle any feathers. I understand that alittle bit.

No way. He made his choice, a horrible one, and now he is paying the consequences. Les won't make the same mistake. LeS U RULES!

At the beginning of the post game interview he seemed very tired and vulnerable. I don't know if he had been crying per se but he mentioned that he spoke with the LSU players after the game, that he had been in their homes, was friends with them and their mommas and daddies and that it wasn't easy. I am sure his heart was hurting some in those moments. If you watch the entire interview, at the end he became the same ole irritable, disgusted, sarcastic Nick.

The coke wore off, are you not paying attention?

Did you notice on the "safety blitz question" how Saban had his hands tucked under his arms and was swaying back and forth. When he took the next question he put his finger under his nose for just a second. I was expecting him to say "Superstar!!!"

If anything he looks and sounds nervous and uncomfortable as hell. A lot less cocky then i remember him.
I wish we had one of those body language experts hanging around.

"It's like playing against someone who is in your family," Saban said. "I wish them well and like to see them doing well. That feeling for them just doesn't go away. If anyone is going to have success in the SEC, I wish it for them and want to see them do well. If it's not going to be us, it might as well be them."
That's a nice quote from Saban, but I wonder how the Bama faithful will respond to it. As far as I'm concerned, my animosity towards Saban is gone. He did what he had to do, we beat him with "his players," poetic justice has been served.

He brought up the 2000 game in which LSU beat Bama when comparing players. He said "we" when talking about LSU then beating Bama. You know some bama people are gonna take off with that and be upset.
