Season 2: Episode 2 is titled: Flash of Two Worlds

That title is the greatest honorific bestowed upon any reimagining of a comic in other media. You can keep your Dark Knight and your Ages of Ultron. Barry Allen and Jay Garrick shaking hands is the pinnacle of this Golden Age of Live Action Superheroes. It's all gravy from here.

Have to admit I geeked out when Atom Smasher mentioned Zoom and Jay Garrick introduced himself.

That was another great episode.

The dad thing could've been handled a little better. I think if they'd vocalized his feelings about his son having a good thing going with his current family and Henry feeling too out of place it would've been better. But I'm not complaining. Henry really doesn't fit that well with the new crew. It'll be nice for him to pop in now and then, like they did last season.

Loooooooved the use of Atom Smasher, even if he was an evil version of Al Rothstein. (By the way, Rothstein was one of the "dead or missing" listed by Wells last year when he was listing off the people killed by the STAR Labs explosion. Nice that the first Earth 2 (or 3,4,5...) person that we see is an Earth 2 character from the comics.

I can't not smile when Firestorm is in action. It's the coolest effect, and Robbie Amell just looks like a superhero.

Jay fricking Garrick. I don't care that he's a little young for the part. This is going to be amazing.

Missed the very beginning of the episode but was pleased overall with Atom Smasher (although I thought the CGI for him growing was a little too stretchy, should have been more like the Hulk in the Ang Lee movie).

I was disappointed in the forced/rushed feel of the pushing out of Shipp's character (I had forgotten what a good actor he was). They should have kept him around for an episode or two to show him having difficulty adapting to his new life and/or Barry not concentrating on being the Flash due to worrying about his dad.

Jay Garrick for the mf WIN!!

I was really disappointed with that episode. Too much stuff seemed rushed. They never seemed to be able to focus on a single idea for more than five minutes. It should have been a two-parter.

Is it just me, or did Patty look her hottest in this week's episode?

I hope that Vibe gets his actual vibration powers sometime soon.

Maybe there are two sets of twins. Earth one Jay & Hunter Z. and Earth two Jay & Hunter Z.

Guy in mask is Earth one Jay and we saw Earth one Hunter sitting at the park.

Zoom is Earth two Hunter and Jay is Earth two Jay.

You know, I really don't care that the real Jay Garrick looks a bit odd in that costume and that John Wesley's health is to the point where he can't walk without a limp. That was one of the best moments in superhero TV history.

Not sure how they'll do Flashpoint without Arrow and Legends being altered as well. Unless they wrap it up in an episode or two.
