The scene here in SC is unbelievable. So many friends have lost everything already. I am working the event and away from my wife and 1 year old daughter.
If you pray, please pray for everyone here. It's unimaginable.

Sent. Hate hearing/seeing about this crap. Especially after everything which has happened down here the last 10 years. I know we'll help out anyway we can though.

Louisiana based board. Plenty here can imagine flooding in relation to hurricanes.
Hope everyone in SC is safe. Always hate to see this many people lose so much.

One good thing you'll see from this tragedy is the goodness of quite a lot of people.
Sure, there are some that either won't help or gouge ones they do, but a vast majority will just do anything.
During a tornado cleanup here in Alabama, we had strangers, like elderly women who otherwise couldn't saw trees, etc. just bring us food they cooked.
Godspeed to you and your recovery.

Many of us can emphasize because of our homes being flooded from Katrina.

Yes.
If you want to find people experienced with this, you've come to the right board.

Luckily there are about 150 doctors that live in this neighborhood and word has spread quickly.....plus they are cutting a hole in the fence to get access to an adjacent neighborhood and hopefully access out

Damn that's crazy. Hopefully everything goes good for her and the baby. Will make quite a story when he/ she grows up

Super awesome for coming together like that. I live in South Louisiana and while my family wasn't personally affected by Katrina OR Rita, we did help lots who were and it was heart breaking. Utterly heartbreaking.
Stay safe.
