Going to New Orleans for Cowboys/Saints game, staying in the Quarter looking for a cool place to watch the game Saturday.

There really aren't many good sports bars in the FQ. Really, most bars in the Quarter just suck.

Although not a Sports bar, Harry's Corner is a good neighborhood bar in the FQ. If you want a real sports bar, Walk-On's and Mannings are in the CBD.

The only thing about Harry's is that they could have the TV on a better game.

Harry's Bar is where you want to go--bunch drunken Tiger fanatics in that place. (Saints too.)

I live in the Quarter and honestly there aren't any really die hard LSU bars here, at least none that I've found. Most probably won't even have this game on.

That being said, the Chart Room is my go to bar for a drink, and you'll catch a few Tiger fans in there.

Harry's Corner is a quiet little neighborhood bar that has some LSU fans, as has been discussed here, but it's no raving LSU bar. Again, for this game you may just find a few old retired drunks in there wearing Purple and Gold.

As much as I hate to say, you're probably better off walking to Walk On's if you want a sports bar atmosphere.

The Three Legged Dog @ 400 Burgundy (corner of Conti) used to be an LSU hang out in the VC...its been a couple of years since I was there but they used to celebrate every TV game.
