A member of the Desgraciados Motorcycle Club named George Bergman appeared at an examining trial last Friday in Waco. Bergman had just arrived at the Twin Peaks restaurant last May 17 and was walking to the Don Carlos restaurant on the other side of the parking lot to use the bathroom there when he heard a gun shot.
He was detained, found to be in possession of two, small, legal knives incarcerated for hours and finally arrested. He spent 20 days in jail before being released on $80,000 bail. He lost his job and continues to suffer from injuries suffered during his incarceration. Last Friday he asked that the charges against him be dismissed because there was no probable cause to believe that he was guilty of participating in organized criminal activity.
A judge named James E. Morgan refused to dismiss the charges so Bergman’s nightmare will continue. But before he left the court he read the following statement into the record.
quote:
When I arrived at Twin Peaks, I parked my bike and when I saw how crowded Twin Peaks was I decided to use the restroom at the Don Carlos restaurant. Just as I started toward Don Carlos I heard shooting and ducked behind some cars. I then saw one police officer in front of me just shooting wildly toward the crowd at Twin Peaks with a rifle.....

10/22/15 Update
Last jailed biker expected to be released after Twin Peaks melee
We're now a little over 5 months into this and still no forensics reports, no indictments, and not even one trial date has seen set.

if you give some police an excuse to use deadly force, you can count on a few of them using it

Couldn't you have bumped the other thread.

And they are a support club for the Bandidos?

I am NOT a gang member and I am NOT a criminal. My life is my family and one of the few outside interests I have is motorcycles. I am a member of the Desgraciados Motorcycle Club that has about ten or eleven members. To my knowledge this Club has never been involved in any type of violence whatsoever.
I'm not buying his bullshite. If he's tied in w/ the Bandidos then he's a criminal.

I care, and I think the process going on there makes the officials look like they are covering something up. I'd like that exposed if so.
However, I'm not ready to believe the first biker just because of his perception. The officer could have been aiming at others with guns for all I know.

What did he do that was criminal? He was not even at Twin Peaks and had no gun on him. What law was he breaking that justifies what happened to him?

They kinda should. Regardless of the Darth hate, this whole thing is getting more fricked up by the minute.

So he was hanging out with members of a criminal gang organization pretending to be a criminal gang member and now he's upset that he got caught in the middle of some gangster shite?
Looks like he learned a life lesson.

He wasn't hanging out with anyone. What part of "HE WAS NOT EVEN AT TWIN PEAKS" are you not understanding? All this guy did was ride up, park at Don Carlos, and start to walk into Don Carlos.
Once again I'll ask, what criminal act did this guy do on that day and at that place that justifies what's happened to him? I'm still waiting for an answer to that question.
