80 years old? Curious? Does that mean that only an older generation respects the effort, and time these coaches and athletes take to represent a university that I love.

Heat index of 119. I bet you were sitting in your AC. I stayed the whole game but for those who didn't I totally understand.

quote:

BATON ROUGE – As the heat index rose to 119 degrees on the Tiger Stadium field Saturday afternoon, the Leonard Fournette Heisman Trophy Index soared to a career-high 228 yards in just over a half as the No. 13 Tigers melted No. 18 Auburn, 45-21, in front of 102,321 and a national CBS television audience.

I was blessed to be sitting in the South endzone in the shadow of the expansion. My wife and I noted that the East side (in the sunshine the entire game) emptied out at a rate of 20 to 1 relative to the West side. It was brutally hot if you weren't in the shade. Truthfully, if we were sitting on the East side, it would have been a serious battle to convince my wife to stay...one I would've likely lost.

Can't imagine why anyone would spend that money, time and effort to get to a game to only watch half the game.
All the Corporate Newbies and Corporate Cheesers were given free tickets. Attending an LSU football game is just a way to kill a few hours on Saturday afternoon or night. They could really care less about LSU or LSU Football. The % of these people increases every year too. They're out of that stadium at the drop of a hat!.....................

I think to find fault in those of us true LSU fans that happen to not be financially able or live 800 hundred miles away wishing thay were even able to decide to stay or not seems not only petty, but incredibly insensitive.

I'm in the north endzone. It felt like a 20-25 degree difference when the sun would disappear behind a cloud. Too bad those were few and far between.

Same as me. Plus my son likes to go down and watch them run in after the games. So I stay for that single reason.

Thats why I skip day games in September. When I do go to games, I can't bring myself to leave early. Like to mill around afterwords for a while too.

frick your sensitivities. If you don't go to the games yourself, you have no room to bitch. If you do go to the games, you have no right to bitch. People can stay or go whenever they want, they paid for that right with TAF fees, Tradition Fund, and ticket prices. Eat shite.

All the bitching about the corporate and newbie fans is lame as shite.
Look at the ticket exchange and other websites and notice all of the folks selling shite loads of season tickets.
Maybe the "true" fans need to stop hoarding tickets they have no intention of using.

Please change your allegiance to another team if you're going to keep being a little bitch telling people what to do with their hard-earned money. I'm a supporter of TAF and have had season tickets for 10 years. I'm at every game cheering for the Tigers, which is more than you're doing, obviously. Sorry the stadium isn't pretty enough for you on your 26" television, Nancy.
