What are some must get items? Plan on checking the one in New Orleans out.

I don't know what's good there but I do know that they need to cut their grass outside the store

I used to work near the one on Millerville. It's been years since I've been there but I remember the stuffed chickens being pretty good.

Is it open yet? Seems like every time I drive by there it's in the same state as before

It opened today according to facebook.
I can't believe how long it took them to open. I think they originally were talking end of May and this was what I think was the prediction after they had completed the building.
Sad they missed 4th of July and Labor day.
I will be going by to check it out this weekend.

Almost everything there is good, but expensive. I've tried about a third of their offerings and the only one I frown upon is the sausage stuffed boneless chickens.
I especially like the portobello mushrooms with crabmeat stuffing piled on top and the rice dressing.
Most of what they have can be easily made at home with better results.
Boning a chicken from the inside for stuffing is an art, and they tend to waste a lot of meat so the stuffed chickens are more stuffing and skin than chicken meat.

I do them a lot and once you've done a few they get easy. This way you can stuff them as you like. I don't always stuff them just season and cook and they carve great. Plus you have all the bones- which I freeze until I have a few then roast and make stock.
YouTube Jacque Pepin Deboning a chicken. It is ten minutes worth your time and how I learned to do it right. I was a butcher before that.
And as Drinksalot said, the pork wings are incredible and I don't know where they are cutting that piece from.

Their boudin is solid. Not as good as anything west of the Mississippi, but easily at the top of what you can get in BR, and probably the best that you can get in New Orleans without having to get a table and donate a body part to pay for the meal.
