I still fully expect Byrd to be a great player for us for many years.

I think that clip right there helps show that he needs to be near the LOS and ball, not 40 yards away

He flew to the ball last year, even from that deep. It's just too late. Against the run, he always looked like a bullet flying up

Time to do some work

keep dangling that bait, byrd.

I wish we would quit talking about this guy, if he comes back good, if not oh well. time to move one.

Well, if we can't win games unless Spiller and Byrd are playing, it's going to be a really long season. So I guess we'll find that much out at least.

Always feels like we have more lingering injuries than any other team in the league. And our staff is always so reserved and vague with the details

Edit: those guys from Buffalo are always banged up. Greer, Byrd, now Spiller

I don't recall Greer being always banged up.

I feel the same way about this topic. I've got Byrd fatigue.

It reminds of the Josh Booty saga years back. Every off-season it was "I heard he's enrolling. I heard he's quitting baseball. I saw him on campus. I saw him in the quad."

It just went on like that for what seemed like forever and when he finally strolled onto campus years later -- I just couldn't muster a fark to give.

Very Jason David-like.

Oh lord. You just cemented his fate.
