I couldn't find a thread about this play so if it's buried 10 pages back...sorry.

I think that pass should eliminate any one saying Brees doesn't have touch on the long throw. When he has time back there he can drop dimes.

there were a few "noodle arm" spoof threads on game day, I noticed.

I'd guess the ball was under inflated. Don't read too much into it.

It's amazing what a healthy oblique muscle can do.

It was about 55 yards on a rope. I've been something of a Brees doubter over the past year or so....but that throw was impressive.

He is healthy. He's been banged up past couple years and a good center and improved online play helps tremendously.

That one play changed my entire outlook on this season. I'm dead serious.

Thing of beauty

The touch he put on the wheel route throw to Ingram was a thing of beauty as well. If the O-line can block like that consistently... hole E shite.

Reminds me of the pass to Devery against Chicago in 2009 or 2011

Edit: 2011 vs Bears

Yea, I thought the Ingram pass was a bit more impressive. With Cooks speed, he just had to chuck it up. The pass to Ingram was perfection.

Just chuck it up 55 yards down field with a defender 2-3 feet behind him.

No one questions his deep ball accuracy. They question his arm strength...how many times do we have to cover this shite

His out routes last year were exceptional

And that ball was 55 yards on a rope... That arm is as live as ever
