Tiger was 35 shots better than next closest in 2000.

Tiger's nutsack is your pacifier.

That's not what you said... You said his US Open win was better than anything Spieth has done.
Now you're spinning

He's referring to the US Open at Pebble which is, objectively, one of the two or three greatest single performances in the entire history of the sport.

Found me a better individual performance than what Tiger did at Pebble in 2000.
He was the only player under par and won by 15 fricking shots.
I'll wait.
ETA: He then turned around won the Open by 8
So in his major wins he was a combined -24 better than the competition while Spieth did the same, only winning 2

It really is just superb. Almost god-like. It is arguably the greatest individual performance in any sport...ever.
He smashed a 138 year old record (held by a guy who played against a field of like twelve other people) on an extraordinarily difficult course with the focus of all the sporting world on him.

Current ranking 285. But keep hanging on the year 2000.
Spieth had a great year and set record for under par for majors in a year. Deal with it.

What the shite are you even arguing?
Tiger's US Open win is way better than anything Spieth has done this year. It's the greatest performance in a single tournament in the history of golf.

Well this thread is about his performance all time, so talking about Tigers 2000, and others performances is quite relevant. Thanks for playing.
shite, Tiger's 2005 is probably a better year than Spieths
1,2,1,T4 in the majors. Won 6 times, top ten 13 Times in 21 starts.

Yet, you refuse to counter the Jones or Hogan arguments at all.
The fact that Spieth had a year that even rivaled Tiger's best bothers you.
Eras of golf and tennis are important in context because of the drastic rule changes i.e. Open eras
When I see Jones/Hogan accomplishments in their circumstances it is really impressive and comparative to anything Tiger or Jack have done.

That 16 rounds of domination is just as good as 4 rounds of extraordinary golf...
I think Tigers year beats Spieths, but that doesn't mean everything Tiger did beats everything that Spieth accomplished this year.
Tigers US open is a record, Spieths -54 is a record.

Tiger in 2000 was better, but marginally. Spieth won 2 majors, finished 1 shot back in another and 2nd in the last. The field is stacked with great golfers this season, whereas in 2000 it was Tiger and Phil, with Ernie DL3 and Vijay miles behind. Today you have about 10 golfers that can win 4-5 majors by the end of their career.
In 2000 though, Tiger dominated non-majors as well. Spieth hasn't done that to the same degree

Well unfortunately I didn't have the pleasure of watching Jones or Hogan, so all I can go by is what I read about them.
I'm not denying the Greatness of their respective Careers. Personally I think jack/tiger Would be 2nd best if Jones would have played a full career like them, but we'll never know.
ETA: your Hate for Tiger in golf threads skews your judgement in regards to other players, it's a little ridiculous.

I admit my hatred for that prick who thinks he is a god and Tiger nutlickers can't read or comprehend anything I say after that. A bunch of whiny little shits. Read further nutlickers....
However, I have objectively discussed and even defended Tiger in my posts.
Just recently, I posted how Singh and his caddie seriously disrespected Tiger and Tiger whipped his arse that round too.
I will never argue Tiger's dominate years except to say he lacked the competition of Jack or what is happening now. But he dominated a field who was in fact scared of him.

Where is the goat jack in this discussion?

Jordan is awesome but he is only half way to Rory.

I like these discussions just as a golf fan.
I believe pretty strongly had Hogan not A) had to serve 2 1/2 years in the prime of his career in the Army and B) had a near-fatal car accident that took him away from the game for years, he would be in the Nicklaus/Woods level.
