I am in Tuscaloosa dropping my son off for school.

I think I am mathematically prohibited from being attracted to college girls, but holy shite.
Anyway, this campus is like Disneyland. Not a blade of grass out of place. And the new baseball stadium is gonna be very nice.... and by "nice" I mean it it will look like every other damn building on campus (red brick with limestone accents).

Some kids are always going to want to go out of state, I get that. And I understand wanting to go some place like Rhodes, Suwanee, or some other private school. But I will never understand the attraction of Ole Miss or Bama to a Louisiana kid. They're just another big state U in the south. Nothing special about them academically. And I went to LSU, so I'm not being intellectually pretentious, I'm just stating facts. If you want to spread your wings, spread your damn wings and challenge yourself at a good school. Otherwise, save your folks some money and stay in state.
