My SO doesn't understand how we will see the meteor shower with all the satellites that glow in the sky. I said those are stars. SO says no, they are satellites. I say no, they are stars. SO gets mad and storms into house. Isn't it basic knowledge that the glowing points in the nighttime sky are stars?

She's right. There's literally billions of satellites orbiting the earth right now.

The Perceid meteor shower will be best seen from 10:30 PM to 4:30 AM.
Apparently earlier tonight was the best time to see all the orbiting satellites.

I know we aren't near peak time but weren't we supposed to see something by now? I have to wake up for 530 for work and this was anti climactic. Guess I'll YouTube it in morning.
