I think this law has more to do with people spreading a picture around and intending to inflicted shame or doing so to be malicious.

I may give or buy my husband a handgun but if he uses it to shoot me doesn't make what he did legal because I bought and gave him the handgun.

Farfetched I know, but kinda the same reasoning.

Yes it is and in the heat of the moment it's a good thing to just shut your mouth.

I don't argue and I hate confrontation so I just walk away and say nothing. Better that than say something I'll regret later.
