That's cool and all. And I get that it isn't the same. But it also looks whiny and hipster. "We were doing this before it was cool"

I've only been old enough to participate for a few years, and this is only my 2nd time doing it (year before, Jones was gone and I didn't have a friend I wanted to go with. Year before that, had a wedding Uptown that day). But RDR has been in my face on social media since I GOT social media in 2005. When you attend an event and blast the photos all over and brag about how amazing it is, what do you expect to happen to it?

Same shite that is happening with Boogaloo right now.

You're still not old enough. Or tall enough.

My best girlfriend from Mississippi is coming in, and she has been out in New Orleans like 2 times in her life -- and she is young and newly single -- so I wanted to take her to F&Ms.

I'll be there tonight with my girlfriend who is also from Mississippi.

Got a hotel room this weekend. I'll be blacked out by the afternoon and probably blow way to much money in Harrahs. I dont like red dress run as much as all my friends, but its a good time regardless.

On a side note, how annoying is check in times at hotels? I usually get the OK to check in early when I call while on my way, but there's always that chance you can't.

We are going down early in the AM tomorrow. Hotel check in is 3pm. If the room isn't ready, I do not want to check in drunk

Well I'm not waiting around on the hotel to be ready, obviously. I'll leave my shite in luggage hold at 6am if I have to

I generally never have a problem with checking in early. Just always have that chance.

Gotcha, I think you'll be fine to check in early. Worst case you leave your luggage like you said and get a nice break in the afternoon to head to your room and drop stuff off.

That's smart.

I am just banking on being okay. I am not really getting there at 6am One of the people coming with me has a bartending shift tonight, so he could potentially be going to bed at 5am. We just agreed to get there as early as possible.

I'm a hasher too. We just had our kennel's RDR a few weeks ago. Had about 50 people and we thought we were doing good

Talked to some other hashers that have been to RDR in NOLA and said it was a blast. Have fun, wank, and ON-ON!

It's so the sassy boys on the 900 block of bourbon can dress how they feel on the inside.
