Last year he was 25% body fat and 301 pounds he is now 10% body fat and 310 pounds. According to Mascona.

Not saying that's a lie, but that's probably an exaggeration for a DL.

Google image 10% body fat. NSFW.

ETA:

That's incredibly lean. Like basketball player/DB lean.

He, Godchaux, and Beckwith are the reason this team will be great this season.

The offense caught a lot of flack last year, rightfully so, but it was so apparent at the beginning of the season that the interior of the defense was a major weakpoint. This year it's probably the strongest part of the team.

That would mean he dropped around 40 lbs. of fat while gaining 10 pounds overall. I highly doubt he put on 50+ lbs of muscle.

If he is a beast on the field for 4 quarters, the % body fat numbers are irrelevant.

I hope he's hugely improved on the field over last year.

#LSU DT Christian LaCouture said he is 6'5, 310 lbs with 17% body fat. Down from 25% last yr. Looks primed for a monster year @1045espn

Moscona just tweeted that out. 17%, not 10% body fat.
