Bump! Still looking for an RV pass for the Auburn game.
Thanks Mikesnation, but looking for Lot 412, not Touchdown Village.

Ski Boot Fitting in NOLA or BR?

Posted by TheOtherAA on 11/10/21 at 11:37 am
Where's the best place in New Orleans or Baton Rouge to get fitted for/purchase snow skiing boots?

It appears the Backpacker in BR and Masseys in NOLA do not offer this service anymore. Anybody know of any other places?

He has been a disaster for this area

The disaster was ever building the stadium on Airline highway. There's nothing around the Shrine. If NOLA snags another MiLB team, they should consider a stadium in a more exciting area of town.

They could easily attract random tourists/convention goers if located in the CBD area - the types of ppl needed to sustain a MiLB in this market. Two pro teams, LSU (including the ever popular LSU baseball), Tulane and other endless entertainment options all trump MiLB located in Metairie for actual residents.

The last time most ppl went to the Shrine it was to see the Wally Pontiff Classic, Catholic League football or that Mumford & Sons concert a few years back. Most ppl aren't going to the Shrine more than once or twice at most a season (if that).

And just like that all the hype build up from the 4-0 start is gone.

It's a long season. No need to give up hope yet.

Guy was never really into building a team here

Dude it's minor league baseball...

It's all about gimmicks, cheap family fun and potentially watching future MLBers.

I dig it. Simple, clean design and most importantly, no sleeves!

LSU/SEC/NOLA Sports Podcast

Posted by TheOtherAA on 10/18/18 at 11:48 am
My friend and I have a sports podcast, called Krewe du Drew, based out of New Orleans. It focuses on LSU, SEC/Bama & the Saints (and the Pels after football season). I went to LSU, he went to Bama and we have a mutual love of the NOLA professional teams.

Obviously a lot of y'all are big consumers of sports podcasts, and I'm hoping to get some feedback from the board. Thanks in advance, and please be gentle if you hate it.
