We probably wanted as much flexibility as possible next season, so only wanted 1 year deal or unguaranteed/team option in 16/17.

The Pels coaching PR and letting him be the focus of the offense in SL helped get him that deal. Too bad UDFAs don't work out in the NBA like they do in the NFL or we could become like the Saints of NBA UDFAs. Hopefully we made his agent happy.

Someone posted a list of former SL leading scorers and it was like a future HOF ballot. I think you're under-reacting. If Cole doesn't resign it might be time to panic.

They have been hinting at not signing him by constantly saying he'll be an NBA player somewhere. Not terribly surprised.
