If it's really Guice and it really is just dehydration, it makes that AFR interview really ironic. "We been killing these workouts"

Hope Guice is okay; sent a prayer his way.

Guice reminds me of PP7 at LSU in that he gets so hyper amped.

Sources: LSU RB Derrius Guice transported to hospital

Former Catholic High star and current LSU freshman running back Derrius Guice on Wednesday was transported to a hospital from the LSU football practice facility, two sources told The Advocate.

LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette confirmed that a player was taken to a hospital Wednesday. He declined to reveal the identity of the player or his injury or illness.

The hospitalization may be a precautionary measure.

WBRZ first reported that an unnamed player was transported to the hospital and had a photo of the player being unloaded or loaded into an ambulance.

Guice is a five star rated prospect by Rivals.com and is ranked as high as the No. 2 running back in the 2015 class. LSU is currently conducting summer workouts under supervision of the strength and conditioning staff.

Guice is known as somewhat of a workout freak. His wild and intense workouts have been well documented.

no idea what it could be but this calms me down a-lot. Probably just not getting enough water and passed out, so they brought him to ER to make sure it wasn't something more serious like a stroke.

Damn... Hope it's nothing serious.

And Guice isn't out of shape and had done really well with the conditioning tests and all that so hope it's nothing serious... We're gonna need him come fall.

In summer heat down here, it'll only takes a slight slip-up in your hydration to take you out.

..especially for guys out there running in it every day.

Well no shite. He has a right to privacy.

Yeah it's a HIPPA violation which fines all participating parties equally (leak source, news reporter, news station, etc). Bs HIPPA fines went up to $50k base per violation each person involved.

eta: Guice would have to press the charges tho.

The patient can always give permission for information to be released, but at this point of time I doubt he knows anything, probably won't know anything till the morning.
