I call bullshite, to a degree. The food scale went on a waitlist within 10-20 seconds of going live. It was already priced at $12 and cheap as frick. I seriously doubt that many people were sitting there just chomping at the bit to get the food scale they have always wanted for $2 cheaper. I think they put a very limited amount of items on sale and this was all to drum up Prime membership. I bet it worked, as well.

Are you a new prime member? I ask because the 128gb was unavailable to me, waitlist full, the second it went on sale. I watched the countdown and refreshed, and it was gone. I have a theory that new prime members are getting priority for deals and position on waitlist.
