How does the window guy get out to piss

Perfect for bulge watching

This doesn't look practical

That airline will bankrupt real quick

Looks like I will be driving instead of flying

Looks like more opportunity to interact with a potentially average girl.
I still have enough miles to continue upgrading on domestic flights through 2018 or so. I guess I'll just pay otherwise. It's only a couple hundred dollars more on most regional flights.

It looks like seating company obtained the patent so if airlines wanted to do it wholesale they could.
Right now I doubt they'd want to do that, but give it another 5 years with prices constantly rising.
I don't work with the aviation industry, and I'm as guilty as everyone else, but we are using Kayak and other sites to get the cheapest flight possible, so of course they have to find ways to keep prices down.

No more fighting over armrests, 'cause there aren't any.
And how will the fatties ooze into your seat zone now? I guess their extra wide hips would spill over onto their neighbors' legs?

But she wouldn't be able to fall asleep on your shoulder or give an under the blanket handy.

Why not just hang a few seats upside down on the ceiling above the aisle? Secure the passengers with a harness.
It's funny that the airlines' solution to declining revenue is to make people hate flying even more.

So how are fatties supposed to buy two seats now?

Glad they got a patent on it

exactly what I thought as well...that shite might look good to the engineer that designed it, but I won't be flying on an airplane with that seat configuration...

It may be time to bring back passenger rail service.
Yeah, it takes longer, but you enjoy the trip in more comfort. Since that is absent, and since the airlines have nickeled and dimed everything to death, I will simply drive as long as I am stateside.

You haven't rode a train in a while, have you? My family did a couple train trips recently. It takes a long arse time, we'll call the clientele not the best in the world, and it's not like it's insanely cheap.
Driving is great, until you remember your own car nickle and dimes you to death, especially if you're pumping a thousand plus miles on that sucker in a week period.
