Ive been sick for a couple days and finally think I should be able to keep something down. Any recommendations for a good chicken noodle or something else easy on the stomach. Thanks

Zorbas, Avgolemono soup might fit the bill. It is a chicken, rice and lemon soup.

A "good chicken noodle" isn't really easy on the stomach. You need bland. And for that I would just get a can. Hope you feel better, and remember...

Since you are laid up you might as well go through all of them. Here's a good one from Weezer.

Won ton soup works for me. I only eat the broth and the stuffed won tons, though. I skip the veggies if there are any in it. Some places load it and some don't.

I didn't care for Whole Foods chicken noodle soup.

Day One: Campbell's chicken and rice with saltines
Day Two: Toast and scrambled egg

Whatever your girlfriend can make. Or will make. She'll probably tell you to get it your damn self.

I'm great! Decided to check back in with TD.
I just spent July 4th weekend with that same virus, thus the soup recommendation that brought me through.

Out of her many great qualities sympathy isn't one of them. She told me to quit exaggerating how awful I felt and that I better not get her sick.

She's going to pick me up some progresso from the store I think asking her to go to a restaurant to pick up soup would be a bit much. She'd just laugh at me.

It's good to see here again. Check back more often. I'm glad you're doing well. What a miserable way to spend the 4th. I had it a few months ago and it wasn't fun.

Oh, the other soup I use for the recovery period for that is the dry Lipton noodle soup. I like those little thin noodles. I don't add as much water as the packet calls for so you get a little more taste. You can use a canned chicken stock or broth instead of water and that helps a little. Don't add salt, though. It has enough.

Miso or clear soup when I'm just getting better. Any Japanese restaurant will do. Pho when I can stomach noodles.

Holy moly, your girlfriend is me. This is how my parents raised me. Both times I've had to takes Jones to the hospital in our time together, I have taken photos of him in the hospital dress and laughed at how dramatic he was.

Granted, they were warranted trips. But that just isn't me. I'll suffer before I'll get help.
