We need him.

My question is who partners Xhaka? We have Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, and Elneny. I really have no idea who to choose.

I think he can slot in next to all them just fine. He fits the Arteta role well, so I'm assuming the goal is to play him with Ramsey.

Ramsay needs to get back with the program if that's the case. He had a very mediocre year to say the least

Farewell Tomas Rosicky
Still holding out hope that he will be one of Atlanta's first DP signings

That would be awesome, I would buy season tickets.

If they can bring xhaka in I'm good with central midfield.
Get rid of, Arteta, rosicky, flamini. Still have coq, Ramsey, Wilshire, Elneny, cazorla.
Next would be to ship out Walcott, and Chamberlain. Bring in mahrez, bring in the young dutch striker from az alkmaar, then idk what else to do. Still don't think it will be easy to find an established top striker.
On D, ship out debuchy, recall jenks and find another CB if you aren't going to play chambers there.

Sounds like Kante may be a legit possibility too.

All right, well done the lads. It IS a big deal to finish ahead of Spurs, and I relish how frustrating their getting drummed by a relegated squad must be for them.
Congrats to Giroud on the hat trick. However, even before Welbz's injury, I thought a top striker should be a top priority. I'm tired of "striker by committee" with guys who just aren't quite good enough to win trophies.
Crazy year. If you told me we would be runners-up, I would have been disappointed, but not shocked. However, if you told me we would finish second to the foxes, then yes, I would have been surprised.
I hope we make some signings that get the fans excited.
I guess though, as far as CF, once again, Arsene (whom I'm sure will be back) will look at Welbeck returning as a "big midseason signing."
The Arsenal brand is still one of the very strongest in the world. Here's hoping we replace Rosicky, Arteta, Debuchy, and a couple others with players that make us serious CL contenders.
Despite us finishing above City and Chelsea having a disastrous year, annually they seem to be able to go toe-to-toe with the Barcas and Bayerns of the world, while we have a "little engine that could" mentality on the pitch and in the front office.
And please, no unpleasant surprises with Ozil or Sanchez this summer.

I felt we would finish second to city from the start. So they met my expectations, problem is Leceister won, so it's kind of hard to accept it.

I don't see how chambers would do worse than Gabriel at CB and he actually looked really good at cm when given the opportunity to play there.
Time to add another 2-3 great players and let's win this thing next year

Honestly, and we say it every summer, but if we buy CM, CF, and CB and buy well, we should have a title winning squad.
Sounds like Xhaka is done. So a CF and a CB. I like Chambers and Gabriel but not sure either is ready to start in a contender.
