1.) Define a lot because I do not personally know any, and I bet I know more black people then you.
This whole rape thing only came to light because Hannibal Buress was bitching about how Cosby was criticizing other blacks yet he raped women.
When Cosby made his comments it was a huge ordeal and he got a lot of backlash over it.
Be naive if you think differently. IDC

The Cosby situation is from a long time ago and I'm less inclined to believe that he was operating outside of the social norm of that time. Society does change and I do believe he may have been functioning on the edge of what would be considered acceptable today, but I can't compare him to Sharper who I feel absolutely knew his actions weren't acceptable.
If he gave any of them the drug without their consent then there's no difference between the two situations at all. And saying that Cosby didn't absolutely know his actions weren't acceptable, is incredibly naive. As to whether he really did what he's accused of, 40 plus women have come forward with allegations that are generally consistent. There certainly are questions too, but usually where there's smoke there's fire.

Nevermind the fact that black people, Al, Jesse, MLK, the NAACP, etc all refer to themselves as a community.

And when you deal with a subset of the population that has been historically ostracized and discriminated against, it's only natural for many to feel a sort of blind solidarity when confronted with these issues. The "us versus them" mentality will rear its head.

Never heard of this guy until tonight but have been reading his twitter because of this story. (No opinion)

What the frick dude? Are you saying you are a rapist? Are you saying every guy is a rapist?
I sure in the hell have never done what you are suggesting.

And then insinuates the plaintiff in that 2005 case took ludes with consent "without any evidence whatsoever" to support his insinuation; the same thing he's bitching about the AP doing. So he's a Cosby apologist. Good for him.

So Bill Cosby sexually assaults women an bribes them with illegal drugs for sex?
But TV Land decides to pull Dukes of Hazard and leave The Cosby Show on the air?

That's exactly what I'm saying.
What I wasn't saying is every guy has bought a girl drinks or even given them illicit drugs. I mean that would be taking advantage of them.

I get all of what you are say, especially the smoke and fire analogy. I guess my questions just run a little deeper than yours.

I see what you're saying but can we not say the same thing about the AP story?

I love Cosby and he's still a great role model for urban youths

Should he write Cliff's Notes on How-To drug and sexually assault women?
