I just watched the video.
He shouldn't have applied that type of force against her.
Now with that being said she clearly deserves blame as well.
First that bar was wide enough to allow both patrons to stand side by side and she chose to be a dick and not allow him to pass.
Secondly, she gets into a verbal altercation with him and raises her arm ready to swing over something so minor. That is like taking a knife out in a gun fight you never know what the other person is carrying, so if you pull it out you have to go through with whatever consequences.
Lastly, she actually does hit him.
I mean that is 3 strikes - people (not just woman) need to stop writing checks their arse can't cash. There was no reason for him to try and Mayweather her but there was also no reason for her to make something out of nothing and then escalate the situation.
Both definitely should have shown restraint.

So FSU may need to get a new gameplan. They are going to need search long and hard to get over the 2 losses they have had since January. One more and they may be out of the CFBPO and not get the golden penis trophy in Dallas.

Jimbo kicked her off the team as well.

he should be kicked off the team LINK
I think QB De’Andre Johnson got the right punishment. He got kicked off the team, suspended from fsu, and received a misdemeanor. Since, hes an early enrollment recruit this isn't going to effect his football career anywhere else.
The only problem I have is how the woman didn't receive anything. She should at the very least be banned from the bar and suspended from FSU for awhile. The woman should of been charged with something even if its insignificant and later dismissed.

surprise..surprise. his lawyer is claiming she yelled racial slurs. that didn't take long

I do think she was wrong to lay hands on him (assuming she was the first to do so) but how to respond reasonably ought to be something you always ask yourself instead of punching someone in the face.
I do not personally believe she posed a threat to him that made punching her (hard enough to wobble her) a good response for him. Would it be OK with me if they were both charged? Sure, but he's the one with the superior size and strength. Him using greater force and risking more serious harm can't be irrelevant.

quote:It's irrelevant if she did or not. A word being used doesn't change a single thing about that incident. I'm not downplaying how the word offends people. I'm saying the video shows he hit her because she was a stupid bitch and hit him first. Unless she said it at the EXACT same time she hit him...."take this ____!!"...then the word being used means nothing. It's just a way for lawyers to get people on their side of the ordeal. And it might not be relevant anyways.

I couldn't help but read this in Dave Chappelle's white guy voice.
