Can we have a Religion Board?

What needs to happen to have a Religion Board on Tigerdroppings?
1. Just some examples of rules for the new board (feel free to share your thoughts on rules too): All religions are welcome: Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, etc... Witnessing, debates, and questions are all welcome as long they are in a respectable manner.
2. Atheist, Agnostic, Theis, and Deist are also welcome to ask questions, share their thoughts/views, and concerns.
I have visited other college websites and have seen several religious boards. This would be a great way for us to spread the word of God or ask questions about our own faith or other people's faith that could be answered by fellow posters.
Let's make this happen. How do we petition for this?

It is currently done on the Recruiting board. It is done, to a degree, on the OT and the Political board. Just be clear about the rules for the board.
Other college websites have one. This is where I came up with the idea. Very doable. Just monitor or ask how them how they do it.

I'll be an admin. I'll submit my qualifications to the admin team when the time comes. I only ask for grace as I have been banned on several occasions. Showing this grace would be a GREAT way to start our religious journey together.

You going to have an admin for each religion? And, if you already have other websites to proselytize, why do you need to mess up a good thing here.
There was a reason the religion threads were banned from the Political Talk after being allowed there for years.

I used to be against a religious board but it would help keep it off poli.
The atheists can have their 25 page threads and debate until the cows come home. <---watching paint dry-to each his own.
Imagine the IRL angel story encounters and Near Death Experiences: that will show SFP that people do worship the devil (exorcist stories) and are evil. with good there must be evil, with evil there must be good.
Also end times prophecy and scripture
If someone gets out of hand just hit RA. just like the poli board. No new admins needed.

No admin in his right mind would take that job. And I don't trust Fred to handle it.

On second thought I second the nomination for you as an admin. I mean how rough can it get? The worst scenerio; people telling each other to stfu and DIAF? Typical day on the poli or OT. The atheist-God is Dead threads at poli have worked w/o anyone being an arse. Maybe at a religious board; others can ALSO talk reasonably that God is not dead, separate from the God is dead, atheist threads

Who needs a new admin? Isn't that what RA is for?
Pick a background color for a new religion board-Quick! And maybe Chicken will add it! How can a Louisiana board not do religion? Catholics/Baptists/Protestants get along with others.

Atheist would be more than welcome at the Religion Board.
