Huh. Good player, weird fit. Jabari, Giannis, Monroe, MCW, Middleton. Very interesting.
Bucks were already a League Pass favorite, might have overtaken the Wolves for the #1 spot.

I think it's a great fit. They are gonna high low people to death. He'll draw the weakest offensive player on the other team more times than not due to all the great de endive length they have. This team is gonna be scary.

Great signing IMO. Knicks screwed.

I don't think it's a bad fit at all. Just a bit of a weird one; there is absolutely nothing wrong with that either.
Not sure Monroe can be a defensive anchor, but maybe he doesn't have to be with Giannis being an octopus on the weak side (plus they still have Henson, Zaza, and a Plumlee). High/Low with Jabari should be awesome, but the spacing could still be a problem with MCW/Giannis. And Monroe isn't much of a mid range threat himself.
But they are young, talented, and should be a hell of a lot of fun. And I still like their bench guys a good bit.

Weird fit is probably right short-term, but maybe a solid fit long-term.
Milwaukee's defense was quietly amazing last season--largely thanks to their versatility. Squeezing a 2nd ranked DEff out of a team that young is nothing short of a miracle, so props to Jason Kidd as well. Zaza is not exactly your prototypical rim defender and Henson got under 20 minutes a night. So it's not hard to believe that Milwaukee can deal with some of the defensive issues that Monroe creates.
On offense, yeah, the spacing is not ideal with a guard like MCW. But if Jabari can stretch out that jumper a little long-term (I think he can), you have the makings of a very interesting lineup. Still got Middleton/Dudley to drain 3s, and Monroe is such a good passer that Jabari/Giannis could become dynamite cutters off his post ups. And Middleton/Dudley are both awesome shooters.

MCW is meh. They need to find a legit PG.

He was meh in Philly because he was playing 1 on 5. He's in a great spot now. They traded for him. They're not looking to find another pg.

I'm really liking the potential of the Bucks and I love the fact that guys are spurning big markets for small.

Wow! That's kind of a scary team now. That team has a lot of great length and was already defensively scary. Now they have a bigger body in the middle who can score. Kidd is going to end up looking like a genius if he can find the right match ups.

Agreed - and they are super deep. Like championship level deep. They can legit play 10 guys. The two keys IMO are finding another reserve sniper (along the lines of a Morrow) and having MCW progress a bit. He's so big and can actually get into the paint - if he could learn to finish (seems unlikely at this point) at a higher rate they'd be able to challenge the Cavs as early as this year.

Getting Parker back healthy, adding Monroe to an already deep roster makes Milwaukee a real contender in East believe it or not.
