he's such a badass.
Never got why people don't like him. He was the quintessential American.

Because he truth-speaks, especially about Klinsmann.
The pied piper followers don't like seeing Jurgen attacked.
It's almost like American politics.

I like both Donovan and Lalas. Does that make me weird?

I see two possible interpretations of this.
Why didn't our USMNT coach see the value of taking a great leader to Brazil even if he couldn't play all 90 every game.
-or-
Abby is a true leader and wouldn't it be great if we had one of those on the men's side? Our candidate to lead on the men's side flaked out during the cycle.
I'm with cwill in that both view points have some merit.
Which one do you think he meant?

I go with the latter. I think he is booming LD, not JK.

He was giving Landycakes a sick burn.

Don't see how anyone can say he wasn't letting LD have it. He definitely burned him with it and it was gold. LD was a great player, but he's a cry baby bitch.

Umm...what was he doing then?

Huh? How could anyone interpret it differently?

Klins haters

Usually pretty apathetic to the whole LD fiasco but this was gold.
I know the idea behind Klinsmann leaving Donovan off...but he could have done himself and the entire fanbase a solid by putting him in the 23. Even if he didn't play.
I still can't believe that Brad Davis got a spot. I'll take LD over Brad Davis 10/10 times, regardless of fitness.
But what a tweet by Lalas...on his Twitter game today! It did make me
