Exactly... Having one party in power is bad. That doesn't mean they should compromise.
Have you noticed it isn't that they are adversarial... It's that they are two sides of the same coin.
They keep the sheep riled up with bullshite like flags... Then all agree on economic policy that funds their friends, robs economic liberty, and keeps them rich.
Look at the voting for the TPP

Is this accurate news source?
Guardian Report on TPP
quote:
ut of the total $1,148,971 given, an average of $17,676.48 was donated to each of the 65 “yea” votes.
The average Republican member received $19,673.28 from corporate TPP supporters.
The average Democrat received $9,689.23 from those same donors.
Looks like they bribed errybody.
But I'm kinda ignorant on TPP. To me it seemed like NAFTA round 2. People freaked out about that. So if it's similar to NAFTA, show me if NAFTA was good or bad for this country. If it's not like NAFTA, educate me.

Donald Trump is a giant festering anal wart, so this is good news. And it's long overdue. NBC should have canned his arse when he started with all that bullshite about Obama not being born in America. I don't think anyone really likes this guy...there was a poll that showed 50+% of Republicans viewed him negatively.
The only drag is that the city of Baton Rouge put up money to host Miss USA. They ought to sue Trump -- or if they haven't paid up yet, just stiff him.

I am guessing this was a business decision for NBC, the return on investment was probably not worth the bad press that comes with Trump any more. If this was when the apprentice was still HUGE NBC would have issued a statement and kept him around.

This firing is a pretext. I think the NBC is really avoiding the equal time laws for candidates. If they give one candidate air time, they have to give the other candidates time as well. This is a win win for NBC. They can pander to Latinos and save money at the same time.

So baton rouge should sue Trump because he is holding the pageant here and fulfilling the contract... But he shouldn't sue NBC for beach of contact?

Right, you said it was better.
So being unfair to hardworking Americans is better for the country?

That's what happens when you tell the truth in modern America
He has no idea what he is talking about and it isn't the truth. Vast majority of these illegal immigrants are day laborers who work harder than anyone I know to make pennies on the dollar.
To categorize these people who spend 12 hour days in the 110degree weather making less than minimum wage with no benefits doing manual labor with rapists, murders and criminals is ridiculous.

Idealistic but the idea is to help the needy. "Selflessness for the greater good" or "what can you do for your country" kinda thing.

And the fact that most of these Trump-thumpers don't acknowledge the thousands of illegal workers' contribution to rebuilding New Orleans makes it mo worser.

So people that don't work should just be able to take whatever they want from me, because I work?
That's pathetic.
By the way, I recall the President promising that rates weren't going to go up. Everyone was going to have insurance, and rates weren't going to go up for those of us that already have it.
But overnight, my take home pay was reduced by roughly $600+ per month. And liberals have the gall to tell me that it's for the greater good of the country, while I'm struggling just to make up the difference.
Sometimes, I hate this world.

Wanna feel even more warm and fuzzy?
Think of all the the people that have medicaid and don't work and get free stuff. When you and I have to seek emergency care at an ER...we are paying $250 copays. They pay $0. And take their kids there at 2 am for lice or for tylenol for a fever or complaining of abdominal pain while pregnant to get a free ultrasound so they can now post the sex of the child on fb.
Makes ya smile doesn't it?

It makes me feel good, because they're doing it for "Selflessness for the greater good".
