While he never grew into a superstar, him chasing down Champ Bailey is still one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.

he's pretty preachy, but ive seen him at mini camp, he is the last one to leave. Signs for everyone, takes selfies, bullshits. He's a good guy.

This dude annoys me - he's like Ernie Conwell, some mediocre "veteran" who somehow anoints himself as this "spokesperson" and fancies himself an "intellectual" or something.

Sounds like some posters around here.
Oh and here's a clue. Black folks in sports seem to dislike "figs" more than most others in sports. Most knew this already. Now you know too.

FWIW, I haven't seen this post, but the religious hypocrites on this issue have gotten beyond old.

doesn't make him any different from all the others who use that site as a chance to get on their soap box and get attention.

"Compassion, an important virtue, for our fellow man compels us to consider the feelings, plight, and desires of others in controversial times."
"Throughout this process, the years long debate to redefine marriage, I regret that I have had more disdain for those who engage in a same sex attraction lifestyle than I have had for those who engage in a number of other outright violations of the Word of God like drunkenness, idolatry, or adultery (1 Corinthians 6). It is a constant battle to extend the same grace to those I struggle to understand as to those who's sin strongholds I can identify with. It is NOT my job to hate, disparage, or condemn anyone. I lack a hell to send anyone to, or an achieved righteousness by my own merit from which I can justifiably fire accusatory arrows at anyone"

his does seem a little more well thought out and less hate speech than others I've seen.
I may not agree with his stance, but those are his beliefs and he seems to be able to back it up intelligently.

he's basically calling out himself w/ his own struggles to treat all sins with the same compassion he treats others with that he identifies with. He's saying its not right and not his place to condemn anyone regardless. pretty hard to disagree with stance.

Right. Which is more then I can say for most of the God hates gays crowd, that seem to pick and choose which areas of the bible they pick to take literally.
But if one is going to believe in God, I wouldn't think being gay would be a sin.

Bigot-a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions.
Sounds like you're being a bigot towards Christians who don't believe in gay marriage. Even when those Christians share their beliefs in the most respectful way possible.

I can disagree with you and NOT treat you like a POS.
Both sides often forget that.

Exactly. And both sides are forgetting that more and more.

I think he's referring to the op treating Watson like a POS.
Either that or the op assuming Watson is being hateful just because he disagrees with gay marriage.
