My 2015 season prediction (schedule included)

While my insomnia keeps me awake at 1:56 AM, what else would I do besides dream about this season?
Not picking us to win the championship just because of the 4 year cycle. I honestly think this team is primed for a breakout year with young talent gaining experience and only losing 3 juniors to the NFL draft. I'm convinced Fournette can be the best RB in the SEC, and we have very talented but unproven WR other than Dural. We return 9 offensive starters (8 if Jennings doesn't start, but Harris is perhaps more capable which is why I'm more optimistic). No reason why LSU can't be the surprise team with the talent and coaches we have.
I also love the new playoff format because it's much easier to get in the championship. A loss to Bama alone isn't enough to keep us out any given year. I have us as the 3 seed playing (2)TCU then (1)Ohio State. I think Alabama will lose to Georgia and Auburn, giving us the nod in the committee's eyes.
Curious to hear feedback. The road isn't easy, but I'm hopeful as long as Les continues to recruit the top 10 talent the way he does. Before you call me a damn sunshine pumper, I expected a 9-4 season last year because I wasn't blind to the NFL exodus and inexperienced roster.

We've had better luck beating Bama on the road than we have at home.
This is the one game we have to win, to me.
Arkansas is no pushover but I feel good about that game, feel good about the Florida game.
But that's just me.

You know I went down and saw you had us winning all but one and said "is this dude for real." Looked closer at the scores and all of them actually make sense, especially Auburn OT. Can it happen? Sure. Will it happen? Not likely.
Each individual score makes sense, but there are too many other factors that could happen between now and any other game. Hell we're starting the season using a QB the coaches don't think is mature enough for it. Can his talent win ball games? Of course. I'm not so sure it could win 14 of them though.

Very bold predictions
I hope it happens, but I just don't see us winning all these games, maybe a split, so 9-3, probably more like 8-4.
@ MSU
Vs Auburn
Vs Arkansas
@ Ole Miss

I see us around 9 or 10 regular season wins at best not 11.

Mississippi State and Arkansas games are too close. We'll beat them worse than that.
Otherwise, decent picks.

I think we lose no more than 1 of those games, maybe none.
MSU will be back to its normal self (i.e., bottom SECW) this year, Dak or no Dak.

We may drop a game....but with average + QB play, I don't think so.

That's a possible season in my eyes! I'm sure there were some auburn fans in 2012-13 season that were being "optimistic" by saying they would make the national championship. They probably copped nothing but laughter for it all off season. But they had the last laugh in the end watching all the "fans" jump back on the wagon

Bold prediction.
It's not impossible, but I can't be as optimistic.
I will veer off from season predictions and say this:
I agree with a previous poster that the gump game is almost a must win.
I'm of the opinion that should we lose five straight games to the gumps and Saban ... it's time to view Les Miles the same way Army or Navy would view their coach--no matter what other success you have, if you can't win the "rivalry" game, it will affect your job security.

1. If your predictions comes about I will be happier than Mike skipping a game.
2. I see use beating Bama (homerism) but losing to USCe
3. I could also see us losing to Arky
4. We blowout OM and MSU IMO

You're actually dreaming that you have insomnia because only in your wildest dream could you predict that record. WAKE UP!!

I like your 2OT win vs. Auburn prediction.

After getting some sleep, I realize a LOT has to go right for this to happen. There is a really thin line between a championship run and 9-3. This conference is much more balanced, which is why I don't see games being blowouts. The 2011 team just had to line up against the others and dominate. I just have a good feeling about this year, and I don't always have that.

Keep telling yourself that if it helps you sleep.
