Has anyone been fishing in Aruba?diving is a must while I'm here, but I'm not quite sold on fishing down here. I've been on a hand full of trips out of Venice that could likely not be beat and I'm wondering what they have to offer here. I didn't plan to fish while here so it's no loss if it doesn't happen. Not a subtle brag thread, but any info would be appreciated.

Nothing subtle about it.

I'm jealous.

We stayed at Marriot Surf Club and took a Chartered trip from a dock right on the side of the hotel (near the handball courts). We took a 1/2 day and caught over 20 tuna. They will send the tuna to a local restaurant and cook it for dinner. They keep excess tuna for tip - so the charter costs was really low (I think it was $250 for 4 people).

Can't remember the name of the charter captain but Trip Advisor may have recommendations.

A word of caution, if it's the windy season - prepare for very rough seas when the boat goes outside of the southern portion of wind protected water.

You're so bragadocious.

Is your girl certified to dive?

Stay on the beach and save your money or go for a rum tour.
